There are literally hundreds if not thousands of different types of equine care products and supplements ranging from equine feed balancers and joint supplements to horse calmers and garlic granules.
With so many different products to choose from quite a lot of horse riding enthusiasts who haven't been riding for a long time and who haven't got a lot of experience when it comes to looking after horses tend to get overwhelmed and confused about which equine supplements are good and which ones are bad. As a result of this overwhelm quite a lot of newbies buy as many different equine supplements as they possibly can hoping that this will help their horses to look and feel great.
The fact is that when it comes to equine supplements quality is much more important than quantity. The fact is that if you are not involved in competitive horse riding disciplines such as dressage, eventing or showjumping, if your horses workload is relatively low then your horse does not need a lot of different types of equine care products and supplements.
If you are riding horses just for recreational reasons then the chances are pretty high that your horse needs only one or two different types of products and in this article I would like to share with you a list of two proven and tested equine supplements that will help your horse too look and feel great.
First of all you want to look into equine supplements. There are lots of different equine feed balancers in the market today. Some are specifically formulated for overweight horses, some are for older horses, some are for horses that are involved in competitive horse riding disciplines, but in short feed balancers contain all of the essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients that your horse needs to look and feel great. When it comes to feed balancers you want to look for products that contain the following active ingredients: oils
digestive enzymes,Minerals such as iron, zinc and copper and antioxidants.
In addition to equine feed balancers you also want to supplement your horse's diet with a good quality joint supplements. If you have been a member of the equestrian community for quite some time you should know by now that quite a lot of horses are prone to joint disease and you want to do whatever you possibly can to strengthen and support your horse's joints. How To Find High Quality Equine Supplements
Have you ever noticed how many different equine supplements are being advertised in these websites and magazines. I was just going through the latest issue of Horse & Hound magazine. Horse & Hound is probably one of the largest and most widely distributed horse riding magazines in the world that every single month is read by hundreds of thousands of horse riding enthusiasts all over the world. While flicking through the pages I have noticed that there are dozens of different kinds of ads advertising various kinds of equine supplements. There were ads for everything: feed balancers, calmers, joint supplements, garlic supplements and so on, and each ad was promising that the product being advertised is the best.
How can you actually make a decision when every single company claims that their products are the best. This is the primary reason why I have decided to write this article up. With so many different kinds of products to choose from quite a lot horse riders get lost and confused. They don't know which products are good and which ones are bad.
When it comes to equine supplements and it does not matter whether we are talking about equine feed balancers, garlic supplements, calmers or joint supplements you only want to buy from companies that have a proven track record. What I mean by this is that you want to buy from companies that have been around for quite some time and that are known to use only proven and tested active ingredients.
