Little Known Facts About Equine Supplements
If you have been a member of the equestrian community for some time now you have probably noticed how many different products and supplements there are out there. We literally have got hundreds of different types of products to choose from. Do a simple search on Google, Amazon or eBay for horse supplements and in a split second you will get thousands of results. Feed balancers, joint supplements, calmers, garlic supplements... You name it. There are hundreds of different types of products to choose from and this massive choice leaves a lot of inexperienced horse riders confused.
I have been working in the equine supplements industry for several years and I have noticed that a lot of people who have very little experience when it comes to looking after horses think that when it comes to equine supplements quantity is much more important than quantity. There are a lot of newbies who spend thousands every single year on products that they horses don't really need. Obviously, they have the best intentions, they want to make sure that their horses do not miss out on getting any of the vital nutrients that the animal might need, but the fact is that horses survived just fine for thousands of years without human intervention.
The fact is that equine supplements is a relatively new invention and I can tell you that if you are not involved in competitive horse riding disciplines, if your horses workload is relatively low then the chances are pretty high that your horse does not need any supplements at all.
I know that this does not sound sexy and this is probably not the answer that you were looking for, but this is the inconvenient truth.
Now, if you are really desperate to use equine supplements then you should only focus on supplements and products that are proven and tested by time. Specifically I am talking about equine feed balancers.
Equine feed balancers have been around for decades and they contain all of the essential nutrients that your horse needs to look and feel great.
